About Us
Technology Books for Children is a small but ambitious UK charity on a mission to advance education for the public benefit, around technology, in particular but not exclusively to school aged children aged 4–14 along with their parents/carers and educators. We achieve this through:
- Providing and facilitating “reading related activity around technology” such as workshops, author visits, talks, linked resources and activities
- Distributing books to educational organisations
- working with educational institutions, key stakeholders and policy makers to promote technology books for children
- Carrying out research on topics such as the role of books with a technology theme in supporting digital literacy
As we grow our impact nationally, we are expanding our Board of Trustees to bring in fresh perspectives, skills and strategic guidance.
